Random Things I'd Like to Learn/Do/Try
1. Go to Bi-Rite Creamery. I hear it's good. It's not too far away in the Mission, though I can't figure out exactly how to get there.
2. Figure out how to get to Bi-Rite.
3. Get a job, so I have more money, so I can afford to do all the things I want to do. Because while a lot of them are not expensive, almost everything does cost some amount of money. And being that I hadn't scraped together September's rent until August 20th, I can not afford inexpensive things these days. Probably not in any near-future days either. Hopefully in 2009.
4. Once the above is sorted out, I'd like to explore more restaurants. In the four years I've lived here, my taste in food has changed (exploded?) dramatically and restaurants I wouldn't have been interested in previously now intrigue me.
5. Explore non-food parts of the Bay Area. There's tons of awesomely fun stuff to do around here, even with my whole lack of interest in alcohol thing.

I've been to Bi Rite! It's SOOO good. I can't remember the street names well enough to give you directions, but I know I could find it again if I were there. It's near the 16th/Mission BART.
NOW, I'm off to eat. From a school cafeteria. BORING.
Take the J! The J! Get off at 18th and Church and walk down 18th to the eastern corner of the park, where BiRite is. All the staff will offer you tastes of everything, but it's more like they're just SO HAPPY about the fabulous ice cream there, than they're trying to upsell you.
Ni-Rite is on 18th and we are going to go on a rainy day because even during the weekdays, if it's sunny, there is a line around the corner. When Jason and I passed it on Thursday afternoon (around 2:30pm) we laughed at all the suckers waiting on line while sucking on coconut and strawberry pelotas from a cart dude, procured for a buck. The line for the ladies room at Dolores was almost as long. Why can't these people just pee between two parked cars like the rest of us?
