So, Blogger has changed. They now ... somehow involve Google. This forced me to create a Google account. This does not please me.
Why? It's simple. If you have a blog, you know how important comments become to you. Sure, lots of times you just need to spew thoughts out there into the world, set them free so they're not boiling into a rage inside you. But it sure is nice to hear from someone reading who tells you they've been through it. Who tells you know they got through it.
I can't seem to leave people comments. If I try to sign my comment with my Blogger name, I get told to sign in with my Google account. Once I do that, I can't go back to the blog I was trying to leave a comment on.
I wish Blogger/Google would pull their shit together.
To those of you reading, if you have a blog, and you've commented here, chances are good that I've read your blog and tried to comment on yours within the last month or so, to no avail. I'm sorry.

Ooh, can I get in on this rant?! Here's what I hate: if you have a gmail account, you now have to login to your blogger account with your gmail password. I hate that. It makes me feel very vulnerable.
However, you should be able to leave comments. Have you moved your blog to beta? Once you do that, it should make the process easier. Nevertheless, I can't be logged in to my "real life" email and my blog at the same time, so if I stop by someone else's blog after checking my email, I have to sign out and then back in as "plainsfeminist." This is annoying, and it means that I often write a comment and then have to copy and paste it after I've logged in - including just now. And the word verification frequently times me out when I do this, as well.
I'm also afraid I will reveal my secret identity by accidentally posting under my real name - which blogger is making it all too easy to accidentally do.
Good think I'm not a super hero, I guess.
I was unable to comment on another blog because his word verification would not give you the word to verify! He has since turned it off.
I wish I could say I've had problems, too, so I could jump in on your rant. But, it's been ok for me. It took a little while to figure out why I was having trouble commenting, but once I got the different sequence, it was alright.
Google is out for world domination. I actually checked out typepad yesterday. I might switch over there. I want a shorter blog name. LOVE YOU
I had such a problem for a day or two, but its on again. I still havn't created a Google account.
Peace.
I have this problem with YOUR blog- only here at my parents house does it seem to be working- on my own computer it recognizes my pre-existing, non-pseudonymous google account. Issues. Part of the reason I'm leaving blogger.
