Help?
Wouldn't it be great if I had an assistant? They could write the checks to pay my bills for me. They could prepare my meals for me. Laundry? Why thank you! Oh, ironing too, you say? Fabulous! Perhaps some days they could even go to work for me. They could organize all the papers I seem to find in my room. Remind me to make phone calls I always manage to forget.
Perhaps they could even have a little "chat" with my enemy Weather, who seemed to think it was acceptable to rain today.
I managed to change all the clocks this morning, get food shopping and laundry done, even cook dinner and bake some banana bread. So maybe I don't *need* an assistant. Sure would be nice to have one though.

When I was a kid, my (single) mom would say, in times like these, "I need a wife".
Teenage Feminist Patti thought that was just awwwwwwful. Grownup Realistic Feminist Patti totally gets it.
Rain all week. If I make it through to Wednesday without having to step foot into a fast food playspace, it'll be a good week.
To Patti: Need a WIFE? Hmmm, I have one of those, but I still make my own dinner, do the laundry, pay the bills, organize the papers, change the clocks and do the food shopping.
What we all need is a ROBOT.
Heck, Avi, maybe your wife needs a wife.
Try to find one that looks like Jeanne Tripplehorn. Robots got NUTHIN on her.
If Avi's wife gets a wife who happens to be named Maria...
Y'all totally have the wrong idea... what we all need are Service Bottoms. There's one on myspace who's been emailing me... I may invite him over to clean my apartment in his ugly panties after I've pretty much moved out and it needs a huge, keep-my-deposit, cleaning.
A service bottom... that's what I'm gettin'.
i want a wife, too.
I just had a co-wife here for 6 days. We cheerfully food shopped. put away groceries, cleaned ...just chatted away the chores.
Maybe , my wife and i could use an assistant , too.
Good on ya for the banana bread. Make some for me when i come up !
