You Couldn't Have Funnier Timing
HR just came by to tell me that Perky Paula is out of the office today. Her cat is sick, and she has to take it to the vet.

I wonder if she's still perky.
...she may be droopy today.
Although, if her cat is indeed seriously ill, we'd all feel bad about the chuckle we just had.
Oh man, even I know that if you are taking off work because you have to take your cat to the vet you tell the boss that the Dr. Appt is for YOU... duh!
