One Short (Like Me) Rambling

cSometimes I wonder if I'm the only one as sensitive as I am, or everyone else is also, but I'm just the only one who talks about it. Everyone else seems so confident.

Someone wrote that most people live lives of quiet desperation. The people I have known who have had compulsive/addiction disorders seem to be some of the most sensitive. Could the constant yattering of the various media be a desensitization to uncomfortable feelings?

Could be that sensitive people are sensitive enough to not want to bother others with their sensitivity. Thus, the way to express it is through a blog where the choice is the readers' to be subjected to it. And I think a lot of people hold back even then.

I'm not sure how much sense that makes. I'm too weary to try very hard today.

We only see the side of people that they want us to see, generally.

Einstein once said that if you want to get irritated by things, there is no end of things to get irritated by. That's totally paraphrased, but that was the gist of it. The thing I strive for to be more peaceful is less emotion and more logic - be the calm at the center of the storm, and not whirled up in it! My blood pressure pills have helped A LOT!!! lololol . . .
