It's Not a Tumor!
Yesterday when I was at my friend's house, her two year old jumped up in such a way that the top of her head went full-force into my cheekbone. It hurt for a few minutes and then I forgot about it. This morning when I woke up my face was swollen and even washing it hurt. I couldn't put ice on my cheek because the weight of the ice hurt too much. Since I don't have insurance it was very important that my cheekbone not be broken (since getting my face splinted would be so expensive?).
It took me until dinnertime to work up to it, but I finally felt up my face and compared the bones that hurt to the other side of my face and am happy to report that I am NOT broken.
Just slightly scared of a two-year old. :)
